If you need to open a bank account in Italy, you will need to provide a number of documents at the bank of your choice:
- Codice Fiscale (It[ISD1] alian Tax Code);
- Valid form of identification (official ID / passport);
- Proof that you are a student in Italy (official Bocconi Acceptance Letter to the Exchange Program);
- Non-EU Students are also required to show their permesso di soggiorno [ISD2] (permit of stay) OR permit of stay application receipt.
Check if your non-Italian bank has an agreement with the Italian bank you have chosen, as this may simplify the process.
