Bocconi students have two admission rounds to apply for Master of Science programs, which are the 1st ROUND and the 2nd ROUND. They are offered around 65% of the total spots available and, in particular, up to 60% of spots are assigned in the 1st Round.
Bocconi students/graduates can access our MSc programs exclusively through the two dedicated rounds; it is not possible to apply through rounds dedicated to external students. Therefore, additional evaluation elements (GMAT/GRE/Bocconi online Test) cannot be considered.

Entry requirements
Before applying to one of the admission rounds, please check if you meet the requirements for the first Round and those for the second Round.
The study plan of the BIG program (International Politics and Government) fulfills the ministerial requirements for admission to MSc programs in the economic-business field.
Bocconi applicants are not required to submit any language certification to apply, as the language requisite is automatically cleared by language courses included in the program structure.
The Admissions Office will check the language requirements only for admitted applicants, who will be cleared by completing the degree by the end of October 2025 (the final deadline for graduation).
For enrolling in special programs such as IM CEMS MIM, IM Asia DD Bocconi-Essec, IM Global Experience or Finance Global Experience you need to meet specific English language requirements by no later than July 2025.
Curricular requirements related to the MSc in Artificial Intelligence
If you are not enrolled in the BAI program (L-35), you must have obtained at least 30 credits in specific academic fields and disciplines (SSD) in order to meet the minimum curricular requirement for accessing the MSc in Artificial Intelligence.

Course choice
You can choose up to 5 programs in your admission application. Courses offered both in English and in Italian represent two different options.
The selection for IM Asia CHINA MIM, IM CEMS MIM, and IM Asia DD Bocconi-Essec is contextual to the selection for the "regular" programs. If you would like to apply for these programs, you should indicate them in your online application, and they represent a separate option.
If you are going to apply for the LSE-Bocconi or Sciences Po-Bocconi Double Degree, you are required to complete a different specific application (check the dedicated article).
Suggestion: you must examine carefully the programs you are going to choose before completing your application.
There are no limitations on the choice of programs in the case of dual participation in the two selection rounds.
